Alexa Magladry

As Director, Alexa leads Morris Hargraves Mcintyre (MHM) USA strategy, overseeing US client relationships and building its network. Alexa is passionate about connecting audiences with stories that matter, broadening perspectives and growing their understanding of the world we live in. Her belief that developing a deep understanding of your audiences is the key to compassionate, relevant, and thriving institutions drives everything she does.

Previously working for MHM’s Australasia team, Alexa has a wealth of experience in leading on insight and strategy projects of all sizes – from a comprehensive annual program of visitor research at the National Gallery of Australia, leading state-wide market study Audience Atlas Victoria through to strategic visitor journey mapping and evaluation plans for new museum M+ in Hong Kong.

With an MA in Arts Management from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Alexa has worked in audience-focused roles at the Art Gallery of Western Australia and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, and most recently worked to support American Museum of Natural History’s efforts in growing their international reach.
