Director of Development, New Century Chamber Orchestra

Gregory Hunt is a development professional with over 10 years of experience generating revenue and optimizing organizational capacity for expanding non-profits in San Francisco. He joined New Century Chamber Orchestra as Director of Development in September 2022. Before joining New Century, Greg worked as Senior Manager, Special Projects at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco where he supported the fundraising efforts of the museum director to secure six-figure gifts, organized domestic and international travel opportunities for major donors, and provided operational support for the museum’s capital campaign which raised over $100 million. Prior to the Asian Art Museum, Greg worked at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he was a successful fundraiser and board relations manager.

Greg served for over two years on the board of YMCA Urban Services and is an active member of Toastmasters International. He is an avid reader, and he enjoys travel, music, theater, and contemporary art. In his spare time, Greg buys and sells mid-century modern furniture and home goods.
