Tahra Millan

VP/Chief Marketing Officer, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts

Tahra Millan is an associate adjunct professor at Columbia Business School and marketing consultant and guest presenter for arts & entertainment throughout the U.S. Currently, she is VP/Chief Marketing Officer at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah, NY where she is responsible for brand building, strategic marketing and communications, and organizational planning. Her work at Caramoor draws upon her two decades in arts management building audiences through strong brand experiences.

Formerly the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing for the corporate offices of Blue Man Group, a global live entertainment organization, Professor Millan developed Blue Man Group’s digital marketing and communications arm supporting Blue Man’s theatrical productions in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Orlando at Universal Orlando, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Berlin. Prior to Blue Man Group, she served as Director of Development and Marketing at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Working for a not-for-profit cultural arts organization, she oversaw federal, foundation, corporate and individual fundraising and managed strategic communications and marketing efforts. In partnership with the Downtown Alliance, Professor Millan developed the initial concept and proposal for Re: Construction, a downtown-based public art program coupling the visual arts with construction sites.

Professor Millan began her career working for the Broadway industry. At the Broadway League, the national trade association for the commercial theatre industry, she spearheaded the industry’s first economic recovery campaign stemming from the events of September 11, 2001 and established the industry’s first multilingual website. She has worked on numerous major industry events including the American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards and Kids’ Night on Broadway. Professor Millan also worked for an Omnicom-owned entertainment advertising agency, Serino Coyne, where she continued her work in developing industry-wide projects and sales promotions.

Professor Millan has presented her work at New York University, Columbia University, and national trade conferences. She earned her B.F.A. in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University and an M.A. from the Program in Arts Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University. While at Teachers College, she served as the Enid Morse Fellow focusing on education marketing and evaluation at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.

EleeHub was founded in 2021 to address a critical gap in the nonprofit marketing domain. It became evident that most nonprofits could be categorized into three groups: those unaware of the Google Ad Grant, those who had attempted to utilize it but were deterred by its complexity, and those engaged with costly consultants yielding minimal or expensive outcomes. EleeHub emerged as a beacon for small to mid-sized nonprofits seeking an efficient, cost-effective, and impactful marketing strategy.

As a certified Google Partner, EleeHub champions the belief that all nonprofits should fully utilize the Google Ad Grant, with professional assistance, to optimize their outcomes. The EleeHub team brings together over thirty years of collective expertise in nonprofit marketing and Google Ads, positioning itself as a leading force in the sector.  https://www.eleehub.com/
